Anxiety, stress, confidence, sleep, self-esteem, forgiveness — addressing the emotional roots through trance-based reprogramming.

The Emotional Gateway
Emotion is the most powerful gateway to the subconscious (Hunter's 5th gateway). This is why emotional experiences — both positive and negative — imprint so deeply. But it also means controlled emotion in trance is a potent tool for change.
The sessions below use relaxation, imagery, and suggestion to address emotional patterns at their root — not just mask symptoms.
Anxiety Control
Anxiety is the body's alarm system stuck in "on" position. Self-hypnosis teaches your nervous system that you're safe, allowing the alarm to quiet.
Protocol:
Practice daily for 2 weeks, then as needed. Combine with breathwork for faster relief during acute episodes.
Stress Reduction
Hunter's "mental mini-vacation" — a short trance session that resets your nervous system during the day.
The Coping Technique
When stress hits: close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths, say your key word, visualize your peaceful place for 2 minutes. This interrupts the stress cycle before it escalates.
The "So What" Technique (LeCron)
For perfectionism-driven stress, practice: "So what if I'm criticized? Nobody's perfect. So what if the house isn't spotless? It's comfortable." Repeat until you believe it more.
Sleep Stress Release
At bedtime, induce trance and: "I release the events of today. Tomorrow will take care of itself. I deserve rest. My body and mind are restoring."
Self-Confidence & Self-Esteem
Maxwell Maltz (Psycho-Cybernetics) discovered that self-image — your subconscious picture of yourself — determines your results more than any external factor. He called this "dehypnotizing yourself from false beliefs."
The Self-Image Protocol:
Maltz found this takes 21 days of daily practice to solidify the new self-image.
Procrastination & Motivation
Procrastination usually has an emotional root: fear of failure, perfectionism, or overwhelm. Self-hypnosis addresses the fear while building momentum.
"I approach my tasks with enthusiasm and energy. I break large projects into small, manageable steps. I feel good about each step completed. I am productive and efficient. I enjoy the satisfaction of accomplishment. Starting is easy for me — I simply begin, one small action at a time. I am a person who follows through."
Forgiveness & Guilt Release
Guilt is self-punishment — one of LeCron's 7 psychological causes of illness. Holding onto guilt drains energy and can manifest as physical symptoms (arthritis, headaches, "accidents").
The Forgiveness Script (in trance):
"I understand that I am human, and humans make mistakes. I have punished myself enough for past errors. The guilt no longer serves me — it only holds me back. I forgive myself fully and completely. I learn from the past but do not live in it. If others have hurt me, I release the burden of resentment. Forgiveness is for my freedom, not their benefit. I am free. I am light. I move forward with a clear heart and a peaceful mind."
This works best when you also consciously identify what you're forgiving yourself for. Write it out before the session, then release it during trance.
Insomnia — A Special Protocol
LeCron's insomnia approach is one of the most effective self-hypnosis applications. The key insight: use the sleep-onset window itself as your trance induction.
Common Causes to Investigate:
The Bedtime Protocol:
"I approach sleep in an entirely new way. Instead of tossing and tense, I am relaxed. I don't care whether I sleep quickly or take an hour — soon the insomnia will be gone forever. [Induce trance with key phrase.] Within a short time, I'll drift into sound, normal sleep. I sleep deeply and restfully all night. I wake refreshed. The old causes no longer affect me. Sleep is natural and easy for me."
Your goal: pass directly from hypnosis into natural sleep. If you wake during the night, re-induce and repeat. With practice, this becomes automatic.
Self-Sabotage
Self-sabotage happens when a part of you believes success is dangerous. Maybe success would bring unwanted attention, or you feel unworthy, or success conflicts with a childhood imprint ("rich people are greedy").
Use ideomotor questioning (Module 6) to discover the hidden benefit of self-sabotage:
Once you understand the hidden purpose, suggest: "I can be successful and safe. I deserve good things. I find healthy ways to meet my needs. Success is my natural state."
Public Speaking & Exam Anxiety
Performance anxiety is usually fear of judgment. The approach: replace the feared scenario with a positive one in trance.
"I speak clearly and confidently in front of groups. My voice is strong and steady. I remember everything I've studied. I feel calm and focused during exams. I enjoy sharing my knowledge. The audience is friendly and interested. I am well-prepared and capable. [Visualize yourself delivering successfully, hearing applause, seeing good results.]"

7 Rules Check
What emotional pattern will you release through regression? What old response no longer serves you?
