Entering the Sacred Space of Your Heart

Remembering the pathway from mind to heart

2Foundation

Purpose

Learn to move your consciousness from your head to your heart, entering your inner sacred space — the place where you connect to the heart of all creation and remember who you truly are.

Prerequisites

  • • The Unity Breath

Best Time to Practice

Early in the morning, when the mind and body are fully rested and there is no noise or distraction. The more you analyze through your mind, the harder it is to enter your heart. The more your mind is an empty vessel, the easier it becomes.

The Downward Spiral

Bring your attention slowly from your head in a downward spiral to your heart. The movement is similar to a leaf falling from a tree in a spiral downward motion. There is a vortex of energy around the heart, and the spiral movement will allow you to ride the waves of energy back to your heart. The rotation of the spiral does not matter — it is based on personal preference. Where your attention goes, your energy and soul essence flows.

The Doorway

Once you follow this downward movement, you will find a doorway in the back of your heart. With your intention, move toward this door and enter it. Once you are in the sacred space of your heart, you will feel centered and at peace with yourself.

Your Personal Sanctuary

Your inner experience is deeply personal. The sacred space could look like a cave, an enchanting forest, a lake, or even a futuristic room. The key is to go with the flow of losing yourself in the experience and not analyzing through the linear perception of your mind. You may find an inner child waiting there to greet you. You can decorate your sacred space to feel more at home.

Important Notes

  • • Don't force the experience. If you don't find the doorway immediately, simply rest in the feeling of your attention being in your heart area and try again next time.
