Daily exercises for the healer — joint exercises to open acupuncture meridians, chakra charging (levels 1-7), color breathing, grounding, centering, and caring for the healing space.
⚠ Safety Note
These exercises are for self-care and educational purposes. Hands-on healing techniques should only be practiced with proper training from a qualified teacher. Never attempt healing work when exhausted or ill. Always work within your scope of practice.
Your Energy Field Is Your Instrument
In healing, your field is used as a conduit for healing energies needed by others. Your field must vibrate in the frequency needed — so you'll constantly vary its vibration. This speeds up your own evolution but can deplete you if you don't care for yourself.
You don't generate the energy you transmit — you raise your frequency to match what's needed, then entrain energy from the UEF. As long as your voltage is higher than the patient's, you transmit. If you're too tired, you could pick up negative energies.
Daily Joint Exercises (Open Acupuncture Meridians)
All meridians flow through the joints. Moving the joints activates the meridians. These exercises were developed by Hiroshi Motoyama to open acupuncture channels.
Sit on the floor with legs stretched straight out. Hands on floor beside hips, leaning back on straight arms.
Physical Exercises to Charge Chakras (Levels 1-3)
Chakra 1 (Base)
Stand feet wide apart, toes/knees pointed out. Bend knees deeply. Add pelvic swing — push forward and back, emphasizing forward. Rock 3 times going down, 3 at bottom, 3 coming up. Repeat 3+ times.
Chakra 2 (Sacral)
Stand feet shoulder-width, parallel. Rock pelvis back and forth, bending knees slightly. Then "polish a cylinder" with hips — circular motion, all sides even.
Chakra 3 (Solar Plexus)
Requires a partner. Hold hands firmly. One jumps, bringing knees to chest. Jump continuously for several minutes. Switch. Do not bend over to rest.
Chakra 4 (Heart — Back/Will)
On hands and knees. Vary leg/buttock angle until you feel pressure between shoulder blades. Push whole body forward, then pull back, from hips/legs.
Chakra 4 (Heart — Front)
Lean backwards over something large and round (barrel, bioenergetic stool). Feet firmly planted. Relax and let chest muscles stretch.
Chakra 5 (Throat)
Head and neck rolls in all directions. Also responds to sound — sing!
Chakra 6 (Third Eye)
Repeat the chakra 5 movements with the eyes.
Chakra 7 (Crown)
Rub the crown of your head in a clockwise direction with your right hand.
Visualization to Open Chakras (Level 4)
Sit comfortably with back straight. Calm the mind. Then:
Color Breathing Meditation to Charge Aura
Stand with feet parallel, shoulder-width apart:
Vibrating Exercise for Grounding
Stand with feet parallel, shoulder-width apart. Bend and unbend knees. Keep going until legs begin to physically vibrate involuntarily. If they don't, start a vibration by quickly bouncing on your heels.
Allow vibrations to work up into upper legs and pelvis. With practice, they spread over the whole body. This creates strong energy flow throughout your body.
Sitting Meditations for Centering
Sit for 10-15 minutes. Back straight and comfortable.
Mantra Meditation
"Be still and know that I am God." Keep consciousness focused on the mantra. If mind wanders, bring it back.
Counting Meditation
Count: 1 in, 2 out, 3 in, 4 out... to 10. Every time your mind wanders to another thought, go back to 1. Very few people reach 10 on the first try!
After meditation, drink a large glass of water. You're ready to begin a day of healing.
Caring for the Healing Space
Caring for the Healer
If you accumulate DOR in your body:
The Golden Rule for the Healer: First, the self and what nourishes the self; then, deep pause for consideration; then, the nourishment of others. Healers who don't follow this will suffer burnout and risk disease from energy depletion.
