Lung Meridian (Lu)

Hand Great Yin · Metal Element · Coupled with Large Intestine

Pathway

The internal branch begins at the middle warmer and flows downwards to enter the Large Intestine (coupled organ). It flows up through the diaphragm, enters both Lungs, travels to the throat, then to the shoulders, and emerges as an exterior meridian at point Lu 1. The exterior meridian continues down the ventral aspect of the whole arm, through the radial artery at the wrist, along the thenar, to the lateral side of the thumb, finishing at the corner of the nail (Lu 11).

Do you wake at 3-5 AM with breathing difficulty? How is your grief — the Lung emotion — held in or released?
