The Seven Chakras

Energy centers that metabolize life force, serve as sensory organs, and govern each level of your field.

What Are Chakras?

Chakras (Sanskrit for "wheel") are energy centers within the HEF. In the Hindu tradition they appear as flowers with petals. To Brennan, they look like cone-shaped vortices that spin clockwise when healthy. A clockwise spin draws energy consciousness (bioplasma) into the HEF.

Each chakra exists on every level of the field and is composed of the same type of energy consciousness as that level. So the first chakra on level 1 is made of blue lines of light; on level 2 it's diffuse colored clouds; on level 3 it's fine yellow lines — and so on through all seven levels.

The Three Functions of Chakras

1. Metabolize Energy

Chakras take energy consciousness into each level of the energy bodies from the universal energy field (UEF) all around us. Like a tornado pulling things into its center, chakras pull in charged bioplasma.

2. Serve as Sensory Organs

Chakras are doorways to other realities — the basis of High Sense Perception (HSP). They give us hunches, feelings of right/wrong, sudden ideas, and the sense that something is going to happen.

3. Govern Their HEF Level

Each chakra corresponds to its matching HEF level (first chakra = base note of level 1, etc.). This is a key tool for HSP practitioners to distinguish between field levels.

The Vertical Power Current (VPC)

The Vertical Power Current is the main power channel running vertically along the spine, into which the roots of all seven chakras are embedded. The main tube of the hara is also located inside the VPC. It appears as beautiful, luminous, entwined ropes of light that spiral and pulse up and down the center of the body.

Energy flows up and down the VPC. When blocks move through the field, they travel along this current. The VPC is the highway through which creative energy cascades from higher levels down to physical manifestation — and through which blocked energy is released upward during healing.

Paired Front and Back

A crucial anatomical detail: the chakras are paired. The seventh (crown) is paired with the first (base). Chakras 2-6 are paired front and back of the body. The smaller vortices within each chakra are also paired.

This matters for healing: damage to a chakra or vortex on one side of the body affects its pair on the other side. A distortion in the front of the heart chakra will affect the back of the heart chakra. Both must be addressed in healing work.

Chakras and Bioplasma

There are four states of matter — solids, liquids, gases, and plasmas. We are made of all four. Plasmas are groups of charged particles (ions). Since plasma particles carry a charge, they are affected by electromagnetic fields. Brennan observes that the HEF, hara, and core star are all composed of bioplasma — plasma that is directly associated with consciousness.

Most humans are unaware of their bioplasma. If they sense it at all, they call it "intuition" or "having a feeling" that they "know something." But this bioplasma carries detailed information about health, causes of illness, mental-emotional functioning, life choices, and lifestyle.

What Distorts Chakras

Chakras become distorted through:

  • • Tears in the chakra walls — energy leaks out
  • • Blocks in the unstructured levels — stop energy intake
  • • Damage to chakra seals — protective screens become torn
  • • Reversed spin — energy flows outward instead of inward
  • • Undercharging — the chakra is weak and depleted

Because chakras play such a major role in life processes — metabolizing energy, sensing reality, and governing HEF levels — any distortion has more effect than distortions in other parts of the HEF.
