The Creative Process

How your creative life force flows through the HECS to manifest your life — and how the final product is more core essence.

The Creative Pulse of Life

Your creative process begins deep inside the center of the core star, in the black velvet void teeming with un-manifest life. You ignite this void by merging into it with your longing to create. The creative pulse then upwells through each dimension, transmuting as it goes:

  • • Core Star: Creative energy arises as individuated divine essence
  • • Hara: Essence is transmuted into intention and purpose
  • • HEF: Intention is transmuted into reason, will, and emotion across the seven levels
  • • Physical: The creative force precipitates into living flesh and action

Trace the Creative Pulse Through 7 HEF Levels

Level 1 of 7

Level 7 — Divine Mind

Inspiration & divine wisdom

Your creation feels divinely inspired — a sense of divine wisdom guiding the process.

The Creative Pulse Through Each HEF Level

As the creative pulse cascades down from the higher levels to physical manifestation, it takes on the nature of each level:

Level 7 (Divine Mind):

Your creation feels divinely inspired — a sense of divine wisdom

Level 6 (Celestial):

Faith — you feel the creative force so strongly that no matter what you go through, you know your creation will be great

Level 5 (Etheric Template):

Divine precision — you experience a perfect pattern unfolding as your creation takes form

Level 4 (Astral):

Loving relationship with your creation — it supports and is supported by others

Level 3 (Mental):

Mental acumen — you have the necessary understanding to bring your creation into physical reality

Level 2 (Emotional):

Personal pleasure — you feel joy in creating and gain a more loving opinion of yourself

Level 1 (Etheric):

Physical will — you feel the will and physical pleasure of accomplishing your creative acts

The Four Phases of the Creative Pulse

The creative process is not a one-way flow. It has four phases that cycle like a wave:

Phase 1: Stasis (Stillness)

The stillness of the empty void deep within the core star — the point of stillness from which all creation arises.

Phase 2: Expansion

The creative pulse arises from the core star and upwells through hara → HEF → physical world. Your essence expresses itself through intention, personality, and finally manifests physically.

Phase 3: Stasis (Self-Observation)

After reaching the physical, the pulse pauses. You reflect on your creation. This is only the midpoint — not the end!

Phase 4: Contraction

The creative pulse contracts inward — from physical → HEF → hara → core. It brings all that was learned and created back into the core star. The final result: more individuated core essence.

The Surprising Final Product

When Heyoan first taught Brennan the creative process, she assumed the final product was the materialized creation — the painting, the relationship, the health, the income. But Heyoan said:

"No, that is only halfway through the creative process! The final product of the creative pulse of life is more individuated core essence!"

This means every creative act — every longing you follow through to manifestation — doesn't just create something in the world. It creates more of you. More core light. More individuated divine essence. This is the deeper purpose of creation.

Cause and Effect — Not Punishment

Heyoan teaches that the divine universe is reciprocating and benign. It responds to your flowing creative current by becoming co-creator with you. If you stop your creative current, the universe simply waits.

The divine does not punish you. What we call "karma" is simply cause and effect — how the universe functions. If we don't get the outcome we want, we simply don't know how to create it yet. It takes more learning.

"The divine universe simply waits for us to initiate creativity in our lives. Then it responds, in kind, to all our thoughts, desires, and actions. This is simply called cause and effect."

Your Talents Are Clear Channels

In areas where your HEF is clear and unblocked, creation flows effortlessly. You don't even notice it — it "just comes naturally." But to your friends, it's amazing. These are your talents.

Talents are more than just skills — they are the areas of your being through which your core essence shines fully. They are expressions of higher principles you have developed through many life experiences: divine love, divine will, divine truth. What are your talents? What comes so naturally you don't even think about it?

Life Pulses

The creative pulse is not just one pulse — it is infinite pulses of infinite phases, frequencies, and sizes. It arises from not only the core star but from every cell, every part of every cell, the DNA, the elements, and the atoms.

Some pulses are long, others short. Some fast, others slow. All are universal. Each permeates everything. Your every action, every phrase, reaches the great expanse of the universe. All are synchronized in the great symphony of life.

Self-Review: Tracing Your Creative Process

From Chapter 2:

  1. Travel back in your history to find something you really wanted and finally created. Note your personal process as it came through each level: higher mind → will → feeling → loving relationship → personal mind → will → feeling.
  2. Now trace your creative process through the four phases: stasis → expansion → stasis → contraction.
  3. Relate each creative experience to the creative force of love as it moves through you.

Trace one creation from your life through the four phases: stasis → expansion → stasis → contraction. What did it create in YOU?
