Structural Imbalances

Any tissue — bone, muscle, tendon, ligament, nerve, organ — can become misaligned (subluxation), causing poor nerve communication. All structures are energy and can be corrected energetically.

History of Chiropractic

In 1891, Dr. Daniel David Palmer, a magnetic healer in Davenport, Iowa, examined his building's deaf janitor Harvey Lillard. Finding a misaligned vertebra in Harvey's neck, he realigned it — and restored Harvey's hearing. The first chiropractic adjustment in the modern era. Structure affects function.

Structure Affects Function

A misaligned vertebra puts pressure on the nerve it houses, instead of protecting it. This creates poor communication between brain and organ → poor organ health → disease. Trapped emotions are the most common underlying cause of subluxations.

Test: "What percentage of messages from the brain are arriving at this organ?" Set the before value, correct, then set the after value to see the improvement.

Common Structural Imbalances

🦴

Kidneys Misalignment

Symptom: Back and knee pain

Single biggest cause of back pain. In 17 years of practice, Dr. Nelson never saw one low back disc patient without kidney imbalance.

🦴

Uterus Misalignment

Symptom: Left hip and/or low back pain

Also makes conception harder. Try rolling 3 times to correct.

🦴

Stomach Misalignment

Symptom: Acid reflux

Stomach protrudes upward through diaphragm — the sphincter muscle stops working well.

💡 If a structural imbalance returns repeatedly, the most common reason is a trapped emotion lodged in that area. Also remember: "All things are possible to him that believeth." (Mark 9:23) — your level of belief determines what's possible.

Which structural imbalance keeps returning for you? What trapped emotion might be lodged in that area?
